Read the guideA routine should be easy to understand and realistic to repeat. Before adding another step, check what the products already on your shelf are intended to do.
The American Academy of Dermatology recommends a simple approach: cleanse, moisturise and protect. A gentle cleanser is the starting point; a moisturiser addresses hydration, while daytime sun protection has a separate role. Buying more steps does not automatically make a routine more suitable.
Compare the intended skin type, area of application and instructions, rather than choosing from the front label alone. If you use prescribed skin treatment, follow your clinician’s instructions about where it fits. There is no single routine that suits every person.
Our hydration collection brings together moisturising options. The sun care collection is a separate step to explore alongside your usual moisturiser. The Daily Hydration & SPF duo combines two existing products for convenient shopping; it is not a personalised skin assessment.
Review each product’s full directions and ingredients before choosing. Keep the steps you need and leave room to adjust your routine when your needs change.

Choosing sunscreen involves more than comparing the biggest number on the bottle. Start with the protection information, then check the intended use and directions.
SPF describes UVB protection. NHS guidance recommends at least SPF30 and at least four-star UVA protection; a UVA circle also indicates compliance with the EU standard. SPF50+ offers a higher level of UVB protection, but it does not mean you can stay in the sun longer.
Use enough to cover exposed skin and follow the pack directions. The NHS advises reapplying at least every two hours, and after swimming, sweating or towel drying. Combine sunscreen with shade and suitable clothing. Babies under six months should stay out of direct sunlight.
FREZYDERM Sun Screen Velvet Face SPF50+ 50ml and Velvet Body SPF50+ 125ml are separate products. Check each label rather than assuming every product in a range has the same directions, texture or pack size.
Explore sun protection for face and body, or compare the two products in our Face & Body Sun Care duo. The pairing adds one of each existing product; it does not change their individual directions.

“Oily scalp” and “dandruff” describe different concerns. When comparing shampoo, begin with what you are noticing rather than choosing by the name of the range alone.
The FREZYDERM hair-care range includes Seb Excess Shampoo and Anti Dandruff Shampoo. Read the individual product information and pack directions before deciding which fits your needs. Do not assume two shampoos are interchangeable or that using both will give a better result.
Dandruff can cause visible flakes and an itchy scalp. The NHS explains that it is not caused by poor hygiene. A pharmacist can help you choose an anti-dandruff shampoo and explain how to use it. See a GP if symptoms persist after four weeks of using an anti-dandruff shampoo, or if your scalp is very itchy, red or swollen.
Check the intended concern, application instructions, frequency of use and pack size. Note how your scalp responds, and avoid treating a product description as a diagnosis. Persistent discomfort deserves individual advice.
